Weight management

A healthier you.Supported thewhole way.

Medical weight management is not a prescription on its own. Our program pairs treatment, where a clinician determines it is appropriate, with nutrition guidance, habit work and regular check-ins.

Takes 3 minutes. See which treatment fits and what to expect.

  • Disrupted sleep
  • Joint load and discomfort
  • Diets that stop working

Eligibility is assessed individually. Completing an assessment does not guarantee eligibility for treatment or a prescription, and results vary from person to person.

Treatment is only the beginning

We are with you every step of the way.

Ongoing care and monitoring are what turn a prescription into a result. We track your progress, review your labs, adjust treatment when it is appropriate, and back it with nutrition and supplement support.

  • Regular check-ins

Consistent follow-ups so someone is tracking your progress with you.

  • Lab monitoring

Repeat bloodwork where it is clinically indicated, for safety and for results.

  • Plan adjustments

Your prescriber changes the plan as your body responds, rather than leaving it.

Frequently asked questions

Weight management questions

Who is this for?

It is generally considered for adults with a BMI of 30 or over, or 27 and over with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure or prediabetes. Your clinician assesses eligibility individually.

Does completing the assessment mean I get a prescription?

No. The assessment gives a licensed provider what they need to make a decision. Treatment is only prescribed where it is clinically appropriate.

Is medication the whole program?

No. Medication, where it is prescribed, is intended to be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. The nutrition and lifestyle support is part of the program, not an upsell.

How quickly will I see results?

Results vary from person to person and depend on your starting point, the plan, and how consistently you can follow it. Your care team reviews progress at each check-in.

Do I need blood work?

Often, yes. Your provider may order laboratory testing to assess eligibility and to monitor you safely once a plan is underway.

Is everything virtual?

Appointments are. Lab work is done at a collection site near you when it is ordered, and any medication is shipped to your door.

Results vary from person to person. Weight management medications are intended to be used in combination with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. The Men's Health Discovery Call is educational in nature and does not provide medical advice or establish a healthcare provider-patient relationship. Medical assessment, diagnosis, laboratory testing, and prescribing decisions are made independently by licensed physicians or nurse practitioners. Pharmacists provide medication counselling within their scope of practice.
