Is it right for you?

When clinically appropriate, prescription treatment may help

Prescription weight-loss medications work differently from traditional diets. They are not appropriate for everyone, so the first step is a proper assessment.

  • Reduce appetite
  • Improve feelings of fullness
  • Support meaningful weight loss
  • Improve blood sugar regulation
  • Make healthy eating feel more manageable
  • Work alongside nutrition and coaching

Frequently asked questions

Will I definitely be eligible?

No. GLP-1 medications are not appropriate for everyone. A licensed physician or nurse practitioner determines clinical appropriateness after an individual medical assessment. The assessment on this page is an educational and navigational tool, not a prescription decision.

What does the medication not do on its own?

It does not teach you how to eat for long-term success, how to preserve muscle, how to manage side effects, how to prevent regain, or how to transition off treatment when that becomes appropriate. Those are the parts the program covers.

I am already on a GLP-1. Can I still use LivBTR?

Yes. You can access nutrition, side-effect education, movement and muscle-preservation support, medication counselling, and behaviour-change coaching regardless of where your prescription came from.

What is prescription optimization?

A pharmacist-led review of your medications and interactions to reduce side effects, optimize dosing and timing, improve adherence, and support the best possible outcome from treatment.

Ready to take the first step?
